  • From the “Home” screen, select a date on the calendar then select “Set Status
  • You’ll be able to indicate whether you’ll be “Going into work”, “Working remotely” or “Out of office”

If you select “Going into work”, here’s what to do next:

  • Select which workplace location you’ll be working at for that day from the “Building” menu
  • Select your assigned desk (if applicable)
  • Select “Set status” once more
  • Review and accept the symptom survey
  • Once confirmed, tap “Continue
  • In order for Scoop to automatically confirm workplace attendance, you’ll need to allow Scoop to access your device location. You will only need to do this the first time you check-in. If you would prefer not to allow Scoop to access your device's location see the ‘Manual check-ins’ section of the article below

Manual check-ins

If you would prefer not to allow Scoop to access your device's location, you can manually check-in when you arrive at your workplace. To do this:

  • From the ‘Home’ screen, you’ll see ‘Your status’ displayed for the current day if you’ve already set your status
  • Tap the blue ‘Check In’ button when you’ve arrived at your workplace
  • Then confirm once more by tapping ‘Check into work
  • We will then be able to verify your attendance at your workplace for that day

You’ll be able to set a status up to two weeks in advance. You will only be able to manually check-in to work for the current day.

How to edit your status

If you need to adjust your status, simply:

  • Tap on the day that you wish to edit on the calendar
  • Tap ‘Edit’ under the ‘Your Status’ section
  • Change the status as needed
  • Tap “Save status” to confirm this change.

What is the symptom survey?

The symptom survey is a shared set of guidelines to help slow and reduce the spread of COVID-19. These guidelines are based on recommendations from the CDC.

The first time you complete a check-in you will need to read and validate the entire list. Subsequent check-ins will feature a shortened version of the symptom survey that you will still need to verify.
