Why does Scoop need calendar permissions?

As a part of facilitating a great hybrid workforce experience, we need to collect and share your information. This means when you opt to connect Scoop with your Google calendar, you will need to enable permissions to allow Scoop to view and edit events on your Google calendar.

When you enable permissions, Scoop can sync your routine to your calendar and create an all-day event with your scoop status for each day automatically. This lets anyone trying to book meetings with you quickly see your status. 

Scoop can also display your status along with your name on any meeting invites where you're a guest for the day of that meeting. For more information visit the Scoop Privacy Policy.

 

*This feature is only for Scoop users whose employers are a part of a Hybrid Work Scoop Program.
